VINTAGE SOUTH BEND 9 ft SPLIT-BAMBOO FLY ROD No. 359 with BAG
. This auction includes the South Bend Split-Bamboo Fly Rod No. 359 with Bag carefully packaged for the winner.
ROD CONDITION:
The rod and bag are both marked 359. Rod shaft has the yellow decal fully intact and marked 359 - 9". The numbers on the bag are faded but readable. No doubt about it the rod is ALL-ORIGINAL with correct bag and there are no repairs or broken parts. The stripping line guide is detached but included! I have it taped to the handle in a bag for shipping. Again, the rod has one missing line guide but it was found in the bag. No damage on the reel seat or cork grip. The bamboo is solid and in beautiful condition! The line guides are intact (except the one) as are the tips. The wraps are intact but most likely a little dry. All the ferrules are in fine condition and appear with minimal use. The overall rod has seen minimal action during it's lifetime. This is absolutely BEAUTIFUL BAMBOO!!!
THE BAG:
No holes! No dirt! No tears! The bag is in PRISTINE condition with both red ties and the tag fully intact!
