Vintage Montague 9 Foot Bamboo Fly Fishing Rod USA #2
For sale at a buy it now fixed price is this vintage split bamboo fly fishing rod.  It is a 9 foot three piece rod.  The butt, grip, ferrules and reel seat are all good and are original.  There are no markings on the rod at all but based on the hardware, grip, and bamboo we think it is an early Montague rod.  The first eye has the red ceramic lined eye collectors call ruby eyes.
Condition is used and each of the sections is of equal  length.  It assembles to a 9 foot rod. All of the bamboo is complete and in good condition.  It has the original ferrules which are in good condition.  There may be an eye and its wraps missing on the rod (not quite sure of eye distribution) and one eye needs new wraps.  In our yard this rod handles both WF-4-F and WF-6-F well
