The rod finish is very nice sections have no spits or cracks tight. The rod is clean in very nice shape but mid section ferrule the rod tube has a dent comes with nice canvas logo tube cover.

    Nice 3 piece fly rod 8-ft long trout rod with extra tip section. The rod is marked The Fritchild Rod Palakona Reg # 24693. The reel seat ring has Ivar Johnson Sporting Goods Co.  The sections are not cracked or split with nice finish. The tips Ferrules snake guides are all wrapped tight intact.  The ferrule has a pliers mark on the mid or section was been repaired by fisherman poorly.
    The end cap has and old crown logo the seat has universal reel holder made in England.    Nice old classic Hardy' Fritchild rod for your collection. Comes with rod sock shiny aluminum tune plus canvas logo sock. I selling these for my brothers friend her father fished for Trout in Maine in the 1930's and 1940's. This nice lite weight 4-1/2 oz Fly rod in nice shape for collection.
