Vintage Beehive Carlsbad 9-3/8" Porcelain Decorative Wall Plate Gilding, Signed Angelica Kauffman. Made in Germany, J.K.W Decor Carlsbad.
This gorgeous Made in Germany porcelain plate is decorated with a Victorian central scene - a courting scene with a handsome young man dressed in silk robes teasing a young lady. The young lady is seated beside another lady. The painting surrounded by gilding. Gilding is bright and intact.
The plate measures 9-3/8 inches across. It was drilled in back for wire wall hanging.
Stamps of the back: green logo J.K.W. Decor Carlsbad ( 1947-1952 mark), Blue beehive mark, Made in Germany in gold.
Condition: Very good condition, no damage. Used.
