Victoria Carlsbad Austria Egg Shaped Hand Painted Muffineer Sugar Shaker 1891 - 1918
This item was made in Carlsbad, Austria from 1891 to 1918 based on the mark that is attributed to Schmidt & Co for their Victoria fine porcelain.The shaker is very good condition except for a 1" hairline crack near the bottom of the shaker as can be seen in the last photos. The hand painting is still in great condition and is more lustrous than can be seen in the photo. It still has what appears to be the original cork stopper.

measures approx. 5" tall by 4" wide and is marked on the bottom (see photo).
I rarely describe vintage china & glassware as perfect since it will acquire some use marks even from sitting on a shelf for most of its life. Vintage china & glassware may also have small bubbles, mold seams and marks that are inherent in the making of the item. I try to describe any issues that I consider more than average or minimal wear and certainly will point out any damage that I find. If nothing is noted it means the item does not have any damage, but it may have very minor use wear and the normal manufacturing conditions.
