- This TDS is modificated with a new LCD-display instead of the Nucolor CRT.
As an advantages, this display is more longlive and saves off more than 4 pounds in weight. The rear VGA port can still be used. So You can still attach a large external VGA monitor.
- The oscilloscope passes all of the extended self tests from the utility menu and calibration routines
including signal path compensation SPC ( more then twenty times to be sure )
, and is working perfectly on all channels.
- Last month I replaced the two internal
Lithium-
battery backuped NVRAM
with new DALLAS DS1250Y and DS1486. Programmed with the actual data (Options, SPC, etc). These NVRAM now are placed in new mounted sockets
(see last picture)
.
- The front frame has one crack, but is fixed with glue (see last picture)
- This unit has NOT been calibrated recently
(I don’t know the actual date of the last calibration).
I am able to test the basic functions but not all the very numerous great functions.
So I am selling it in
"AS-IS"
condition.
