TAS475 is one of the best digital controlled analog scope I ever used. With digital controlling, it has much less chance to have intermittent problem; READ-OUT makes it much easy to check all settings, measure waveform's voltage, timing, frequency; AUTOSET makes it much easy to use for anyone new to scope or want to make you live easier.
I did a full functional test in all modes according to Tektronix's service manual and all calibration settings are still well within tolerance. The vertical and horizontal amps are fully calibrated with crystal-based Oscilloscope Calibrator and function generator.
This scope operates with a sharp, bright trace with plenty of brightness in reserve; no burn spots.
All controls/buttons operated normally, very smooth  without intermittent problem.
