Tektronix Oscilloscope Viewing Hood  ~RARE BLACK~  016-0180-00 Original/NEW Old Stock
Though most Tektronix 016-0180-00 Vinyl Collapsible/Folding (folds flat for storage) Viewing Hoods are Tektronix Blue, these were also made in Black.
I do not know if this black color was made for certain instruments, but it has the same part number as its Tektronix Blue counterpart, and appears to be of the same dimensions, thus it should fit any instrument paired with this same part number.
It is POLARIZED, and designed to reduce reflections and glare under conditions of high ambient light.

In the photos,
I have placed a Tektronix Blue Viewing Hood with the Black Viewing Hood to show that they are nearly identical.
The polarized panel within the hood is clear and free of damage (the flaws in my backdrop show through the panel.)
As These Viewing Hoods have been stacked together in a box for some years, the attachment piece for the polarized panel has stretched the outer vinyl, but it is NOT poking through.
The Black Viewing Hood weighs a little less than its Blue twin.
