  • Condition: These each have a lot of wear to the gold gilding along the edge and minor usage wear. One of the plates has a 1" long wide shaped hairline to the back of the plate next to the mark. No other post manufacture chips or cracks to any of the plates.

    Set of 3 Bawo & Dotter Hand Colored Winter Scenic House Plates Circa 1883 - 1914
    Set of 3 porcelain scalloped edge plates. Nicely decorated with a hand colored scenic landscape of a house and trees with mounds of snow. Has hand colored small flowers in orange and yellow along the top of the plate and gold gilding along the edge. These are marked on the reverse in red Carlsbad China Austria with a shield. This mark was used by Bawo & Dotter between 1883 and 1914.
    These each have a lot of wear to the gold gilding along the edge and minor usage wear. One of the plates has a 1 inch long wide shaped hairline to the back of the plate next to the mark. No other post manufacture chips or cracks to any of the plates.
    Each plate measures approximately 7 1/4 inches wide.
    These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the pieces.
