    Description

    Schmidt & Co Victoria Austria Game Birds & Gold Grapes 12 1/2 Inch Charger
    Very pretty scalloped edge porcelain charger. Decorated with a central landscape scene with trees, mountains, and game birds. With a white border with a fancy gold gilt grape vine and grapes pattern along the edge. Marked on the reverse with a blue Victoria crown Austria mark. This is an overglaze decorating mark used by Schmidt & Company between 1904 and 1918.
    Has some wear to the gilding, especially along the very edge. There is also a small flake to the edge and a flake to the foot rim.  Otherwise good condition.
    Measures approximately 12 1/2 inches wide.
    This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
