Round UPW CORAL Oyster Plate CORAL RARE COLORED TRIM c.1870

For your Consideration  is this Antique American union porcelain works  ROUND oyster plate circa 1880 with crabs, coral accent colors, and seaweed.
Union Porcelain Works oyster plate, made in New York, circa 1879- 1880's.
The colors in this pate are vibrant and beautifully still intact, The colors are portraying Crabs, Sea Shells, etc.
The Oyster Plate is in excellent condition, and would make a great addition to someone's collection.
Marked "PAT. FEB. 4 '79" " and impressed with a Union Porcelain Works mark.

Of the three oyster plate shapes made by UPW, the round shape is considered the second most difficult to find
Six realistic white oyster shaped well showing their muscle scars surround a CORAL round center sauce Well
Many deep sea colored seaweed & urchins (all in deep relief) are scattered among the oyster wells
Take notice of the two orange crabs, one in an oyster well and one in the seaweed
Coral double rim outlined in gold gilding, these oyster plates were all Hand Painted

Very good condition, no cracks, repairs, crazing. For it's age , excellent  condition,

Any and all buyers will need to show me immediately upon unpacking , without taking out of the box. any or all damage. I do insure all packages, as well pack impeccably.,

With that said, unless I am showed pictures of my items when they are immediately opened That are said to be chipped, broken, etc
