    Description

    Rare Set of 3 Carl Knoll 2843 Pattern Hand Colored Floral Dinner Plates C. 1848
    Rare set of 3 early porcelain dinner plates. Nicely decorated with hand colored small flowers in pink, blue and yellow. With gold gilding along the edge. One of the plates has the pattern number 2843 4 on the back in red.  All three of these have a very faint & hard to see impressed Carl Knoll CARLSBAD mark. This mark was used by Carl Knoll in Fischern Germany between 1848 and 1868.
    These have some wear to the gilding and some usage wear to the center consistent with age, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
    Each plate measures approximately 9 5/8 inches wide.
    These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the pieces.
