VINTAGE 1950s PRINCESS SUMMERFALL WINTERSPRING

17" Tall ~ Wearing Original Princess Dress
She has no markings anywhere.
She is a hard to find, rare doll coming from an adult collector!  She has been played with and needs some TLC!
She is modeled after a character played by actress, Judy Tyler, in the "Howdy Doody" TV show.  She is all hard plastic, has a fully jointed body (this is not the Peter Puppet Playthings version), blue sleep eyes, very distinctive facial paint with curved eyebrows, and a rosebud closed mouth.
Here are the details:
HAIR:  Black hair still in original braids.  Looks like some of the bangs have been cut.
FACE:  Looks to be all original makeup.  There are some rubs in the lips and a scratch in one of the
eyebrows.  Looks like she has money eye shadow.  Love the rose cheeks.
Eyes open and close and have all lashes.
STRUNG ARMS and LEGS.  Stringing is tight at head and legs.  Stringing a loose at the arms.
No broken limbs or fingers.
The doll has been played with and there is some lite dirt here and there.  Also we noticed that in some areas her skin tone is uneven -- like it is fading.  Overall, it is not too bad but we did want to mention it.  There are are also marks on her torso from a metal stand.
We did not attempt to try and remove.  Will leave that up to someone who knows what they are doing.
Comes in original dress.  (The crown and wand are not original.)  As you can see, the
dress has age wear.  We are not sure what the original color was, but it looks dingy.  There are also some yellowish spots on the ruffle at the end of the dress and on the lace on the skirt. The satin on the bodice is dirty.  There are two small holes in the netting on the skirt.  It is a beautiful dress.  Maybe new owner will have some ideas on how to restore????.
We took lots of pictures so you can see the exact condition of the doll and outfit.  We think you will agree, she is in excellent vintage condition.
This doll is looking for a new home and someone to love her!  She will be a great addition to your doll collection!

REFUND POLICY:
We accept returns only if item is not as described above. Buyer must return item in the original condition as sent by seller within 7 days of receipt of the item. If the item has been tampered with, we will not issue a refund. Buyer must notify seller if they are returning an item and state the reason why. Postage is not refundable.
