8 Inch Plates Circa 1880s
Pretty pair of porcelain luncheon plates with reticulated and relief molded scrollwork edge. One of the plates has two cherubs with scrolls and a quill pen. The other one has two cherubs with flowers and a wreath. Unmarked, but possibly made by Schmidt & Co. Circa 1880s.
These have some wear to the gilding and one has a very small in manufacture firing separation to the reticulation. Otherwise good condition with no post manufacture chips or cracks.
Each plate measures approximately 8 inches wide.
These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the pieces.
