  • Condition: Really amazing condition for such an old vintage plate. No chips. cracks, or crazing detected. Bright colors. Only wear noted is some of the delicate gold gilding has worn over the decades and a small rust mark on foot rim left by a wall hanger.

    Description

    We believe this plate is over 100 years old.  Made by Lewis Strauss & Son (LS & S) in Austria. Depicts a fish and has an embossed scalloped rim.  The only very noticeable wear is that some of the delicate gold gilding is worn away.  Approximately 8 1/4" diameter. Each plate is hand numbered on the back.  PLEASE READ all comments above and ZOOM IN on all photos for closer detail.
