Cotton Indian Lungi (Sarong) with a Jade Green Border
The lungi is
a great multipurpose item for comfort wear in the home, at the beach, as a cover or towel when travelling, or as a table cover etc.etc. !!
This type of lungi is a traditional clothing item for men in Kerala. It is still widely worn nowadays because it is such a comfortable clothing. It is also known as a sarong in other countries. And as dhoti and mundu in some parts of India.
This lungi is made of unbleached cotton with an attractive jade green border as in the photo. There may be some slight differences in exact border details.
This lungi is made by a small weaving mill in our area in North Kerala. Weaving is a traditional process here and we enjoying supporting it as it is a livelihood for many local people in the area.
Dimensions : the lungi is approximately 2m length x 123 cm width (or 78 x 48.5 inches)
