Introduction:
Handheld freezing point detector, also known as photorefractometer, freezing point tester, automobile freezing point tester, freezing point tester and freezing point tester, is designed to measure the freezing point of antifreeze liquid, glass liquid and the proportion of battery solution.
As long as a few drops of liquid are placed on the prism, and then observed toward the light, the measured value of the solution can be quickly read out. The freezing point of the anti-freezing system based on propylene glycol and ethylene glycol and the freezing point of the car front window cleaning liquid can be known by the measured percentage. Operational instructions:
Lift the cover plate and wipe it clean with soft velvet cross-cover plate and prism surface; drop the liquid to be measured on the prism surface with suction tube, close the cover plate and press it gently, turn the refractometer to the bright place, rotate the eyepiece to make the scale line clear in the field of view, read out the value of the light and dark demarcation line on the corresponding scale on the marking board; after testing, wipe the prism surface and the cover plate with velvet cloth. Clean the straw.
When measuring the battery liquid, pay attention not to spray it on the skin and eyes to prevent burns. Clean the instrument carefully after testing.
The refractometer is used to measure the following items:
A. The freezing point of antifreeze based on propylene glycol and ethylene glycol. It cannot measure methanol-based antifreeze.
B. Solidification point of automobile glass water. It can not measure glass water based on methanol.
C. Concentration of Adblue (urea) in automobiles
D. Specific gravity of rechargeable battery liquid (sg).
