H&C Carlsbad Hand Painted Pink Rose Flowers Red & Gold Breakfast Cup & Saucer
Nice late 19th century antique porcelain breakfast cup and saucer. Decorated with hand painted pink roses, blue morning glories, and yellow and white wild roses over a white background. Dark red background to the base of the cup and around the center / well of the saucer. Gold highlights to the handle and gold gilding along the edge. The saucer has a partially impressed H&C Carlsbad mark. Also marked Florentina in overglaze red. I have not been any to find anything about this mark. Possibly Haas & Czjzek.
Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition.
The cup measures approximately 4 1/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 7/8 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 5 1/2 inches wide.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
