The Instek GDS-1000-U series is a two-channel, portable digital oscilloscope with a maximum real-time sample rate of 250MS/s, a record length of 4 kpts, auto-set function, advanced triggering, two basic math functions and FFT, 19 measurement parameters, an internal memory for data storage, data logging, and USB connectivity for electronics applications such as such as product design, assembly lines, repair and servicing, and electrical engineering, among others. The sample rate and record length enable long capture times for displaying detailed waveforms. An auto-set function automatically configures the optimum settings for displaying waveforms by selecting the horizontal and vertical scales, positioning the waveform horizontally and vertically, and selecting and activating the trigger source channel. In addition to an edge trigger, the unit has pulse width and video triggers for isolating a specific signal. Two basic math functions—add and subtract—plus FFT (fast fourier transform) and 19 measurement parameters such as average, frequency, and peak-to-peak allow an in-depth analysis of waveforms. A go/no go test function promptly indicates when a signal falls outside user-defined settings, and a zoom function magnifies details of waveforms. Up to 15 waveforms or 15 setups can be stored in the internal memory of the oscilloscope. A data logging function tracks data at user-defined timed intervals for up to 100 hours, logging the data on a USB flash drive (sold separately). include a rise time of 7ns for the 50MHz model, 5ns for the 70MHz model, and 3.5ns for the 100MHz model, and various triggering features. The oscilloscope has a 5.7" color TFT (thin film transistor) LCD with a resolution of 320 x 234 pixels and can show simultaneously show up to two live and two stored waveforms.
The oscilloscope has a USB host port for connecting a flash drive (sold separately) to store data and a USB device port for connecting to a PC for storing data and remote operation. The unit meets EN (European Standard) 61010-031 safety standard, and is rated for CAT (category) II installations to 300V, which covers energy-consuming equipment connected to a fixed installation, including household, office, and laboratory appliances. It has CE (European Conformity) marking. It comes with two passive voltage probes, a power cord for 100 to 240VAC, 50/60Hz, and a user manual.

Oscilloscopes are electrical testing devices used to verify the functionality of equipment that generates an electrical signal. Oscilloscopes measure the voltage of an electrical signal over time, and display the measurement as a waveform in a visual graph. The waveform shows the sweeps (or refresh) of voltage on a vertical (Y) axis, and the time on a horizontal (X) axis. Details of a waveform demonstrate the signal over time. Some oscilloscopes can capture waveform signals to memory, and recall them. They may provide real-time intensity grading, and may have the ability to adjust frequency of display. Oscilloscopes can be powered with batteries or electricity, or may have a built-in generator. They are commonly used for testing, measuring, and inspecting in science, engineering, telecommunications, automotive, and electronics applications.

Warranty Info & Return Policy
All goods or equipment sold by Top Dog Test include a 30-Day Warranty. Warranty period starts the day the equipment is shipped. Top Dog Test  will at its discretion, repair, replace, or refund the selling price for any malfunctioning equipment or goods, provided payment is made in due course, except in cases of improper application or misuse of goods or equipment by Customer. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
All goods or equipment sold by Top Dog Test are subject to a limited 14-day ROR (Right of Return) unless otherwise noted. This ROR is limited to goods found to be non-acceptable due to cosmetic defect (not previously disclosed) or item not meeting manufacturer's spec as advertised. ROR does not apply to wrong item(s) ordered by customer. All items past the 14-day ROR period will only be accepted with written approval by Top Dog Test. All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer and items must be received by Top Dog Test within 21 DAYS of the original delivery date. Items that are damaged in shipping are not covered under ROR terms. Items misused or damaged by customer misuse (intentional or unintentional) are not covered by the ROR. ROR does not apply to rental orders.
Returns must be shipped with all original packaging and accessories.  We will not accept any items with obvious signs of additional wear and tear or internal component alterations.  All of our items will ship with “Warranty Void” tamper resistant stickers. If any stickers have been removed or tampered with your refund will be canceled. When contacting us for a return please include your order number and a brief description as to the reason for returning the item(s).
