A new display window can make your Scopemeter look sharp and clean. If your window has blemishes or is broken or missing, this is what you need to enjoy that crisp, clear view again.
These are the latest acrylic version that are scratch resistant and slightly more flexible, meaning they are less prone to breakage than the original Lexan version from the early 2000's.
Installation is simple and straightforward. Remove the old window by prying it out of the front case, remove the adhesive backer from the new window, then press it firmly into place. Heating the scope to 120°F or so will help soften the adhesive and make removal easier. Do not heat above 150°F for a prolonged period or you may damage the LCD optical films. Be careful not to gouge the edge of the case when removing the old window. A plastic tool like a guitar pick may be helpful.
