Antique Quality Porcelain Art Plate, Porcelain Factory from Austria, Circa 1890-1918.

This Large Plate Measures About 10" In Diameter.
The Image Is a Lovely Scene with Three Beautiful Women in Flowing Robes, Three Cherub Cupids; Easels of Artists at Work. The Plate Is Decorated with Gold Gilt and Band Decoration with blue border of Women surrounded by cupids, clouds in the sky.The ladies have wonderfully detailed faces and the cupid faces are very expressive. The scene is very appealing and quite serene. Bright, vibrant colors throughout.

Plate Marked on Back.  Vienna Austria
Hallmarked with Carlsbad which tells us that this lovely piece is c. 1891-1917.
Made by the CARLSBAD Victoria Porcelain Factory (one of the better porcelain factories at the time).
Plate Is Signed in Left Front; Corner.
The scene probably is taken from a painting by Kaufmann, whose name appears at the bottom.

CONDITION:
Good condition. Slight Gold loss and ware due towage. Other than some normal usage wear on the gold trim, this plate is in nice condition.
