    Description

    Offered for sale, a rare and collectible porcelain souvenir plate marked "Karlovy Vary."  Karlovy Vary (or Carlsbad) is in the West Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.  I am unsure, but the scene depicted is possibly Lazenska Kolonada.  It is executed with amazing details.  It is commonly referred to as Carlsbad cobalt with 22K gold accents.  It has a hallmark on the reverse side, "JT" within a crowned shield with the words "Rucni Prace" underneath.  It measures 9 3/4" in diameter and is in excellent vintage condition.
