    Description

    Antique Victoria Carlsbad Austria Porcelain CAKE PLATE, in very good pre-owned condition - clean, with no crazing or stains.  There are a couple of issues, however.  There is a tiny chip on the underside of the plate that can not be seen until you turn the plate over.  Secondly, there is a faint hairline surface crack in the middle of the plate.  I must have overlooked it a dozen times...but it's there.  This plate will still make a beautiful display at 100+ years old.  Hand painted pink, yellow and white flowers, green leaves.  Beaded, scalloped edge, with gold trim and highlights(some minimal wear to the gold).  Measures 9 3/4" in diameter, with open handles.  Pottery mark in use from 1891 -1918.  Lovely piece!
