    a town located in Bohemia, which was
    part
    of the Austro-Hungarian Empire at the time the piece was made.
    Carlsbad
    was the well-known center for Bohemian porcelain the piece could be dated anytime between 1891(when it was required by the U.S. to have an import mark) and the end of the Great War(1918) when it became part of
