    Description

    Note: this scope is upgraded from a TDS3012B.
    Please read below in red for details.
    Up for sale is a Tektronix TDS3052B 500 MHz 5GS/s 2 Channel DSO with all the options shown in picture #2.
    Only 733 power on hours.
    It is in excellent cosmetic condition.
    This scope has been made into a 500MHz 5GSa/s TDS3052B from a TDS3012B. It will report itself as a TDS3052B and meet Tektronix specification for vertical amplitude @ 500MHz as well.  Shown in picture #3 is a 600mV RMS sine-wave @ 500MHz to test the -3dB point. The signal must be at least 424mV, both channels exceed that. Picture #4 shows the rise time and step response of a 30pS rise-time pulse. Both channels meet or exceed specification for a TDS3052B.  It will also sample at 5GS/s real-time. Note also that the badging/stickers on the front and rear panels stating TDS3012B will not change!
    Options are:
    TDS3TRG: Advanced Trigger application adds logic and pulse triggering capabilities.
    TDS3FFT: Adds FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) measurement capabilities to your oscilloscope.
    The scope passes all of its extended self tests from the utility menu and calibration routines including signal path compensation (SPC, more than 20 times to be sure), and is working perfectly on both channels. -3dB point vertical bandwidth tested good out to 500MHz on both channels. The probe interface was tested with a P6243 FET probe. Floppy drive is tested and working.
    There are no accessories or probes included with this scope. You will need a standard IEC power cord.
    Returns accepted only if defective and the tamper seal on the rear cover (which will be installed on final QC/test before shipping) is intact. I will only ship to verified addresses in the continental United States.
