3D Printed Mini PC Case 75% Scale Dreamcast Style For Mini PC or Other SBC.
This is a 3D printed 75% scale case that can be used for housing a mini PC motherboard or other small single board computers. The design is based off of the Odroid xu4 mini Dreamcast style case but it has been upscaled in size. This is about 75% as large as a original DC. This has a removable faceplate and button well. Comes with extra button caps aswell. Inside the case has a pretty good amount of space to create your project. You will have to create and cut your own front port holes for things such as USB ports or other io you require for your project. A good idea is to have the front faceplate be a magnetic snap on piece. The back and sides have good airflow. It's up to you to find a way to mount what ever motherboard you choose inside. There is 4 screw standoffs but depending on what you will be using you may need to create your own. Remember that this is a custom case and is not made for any particular mini PC motherboard so you should expect to have to make your own standoffs to mount components inside.
This case was printed in black but I would recommend that you sand, paint and put decals on to give it even more of a original look. If you would like me to do a quality sand, paint and decal job to it for you I can but it will cost extra so message me first before buying so I can adjust the price. I can paint it the color of your choice and finish it off with a clear protective top coat to protect the paint job and give it a more quality look to it. This case comes as 2 parts top & bottom along with a faceplate and a bunch of button caps. Message To Buyers Please Read
Remember that this is a 3d printed case and it will not have that perfect factory mold quality and look and will show marks such as print lines. When you prime, paint and add a clear protective top coat varnish it will take most of the imperfections away. 3D prints can sometimes crack in some spots so be careful when trimming or filing or sanding the case. There are no returns accepted if you have already modified the case in anyway. To be able to return the case it must be untouched and just as it was when it shipped to you.
