    ANTIQUE BISCUIT JAR
    Charming antique molded porcelain biscuit jar measuring about 6" tall. Featuring a paneled melon shape with scalloped piecrust collar, original lid has molded loop finial - jar is decorated with a lovely pink and blue spring floral spray. Marked MARX & GUTHERZ CARSLBAD with a hand painted number of 1446 94, it dates to around 1894.
    Condition is lovely with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, discoloration or damage - transferware decoration is without fading, rubbing or wear - colors are bright - interior is clean - other than a bit of loss to the gold trimming the loop finial, it is in excellent condition. Wonderful addition to any collection or display!
